Fourth Year Fourth Year Schedule 9 week assignment period for all four quarters.
First Quarter: Acts I An in-depth verse-by-verse study emphasizing the formation and spread of the Church. The class will focus on the role of the Holy Spirit and discover principles for ministry which are based on the Word of God. Pastoral Epistles I An in-depth study of Paul's letters warning of false teaching, instruction on church administration and worship, character of church leaders and helpers and responsibilities toward the believers.
Second Quarter: Acts II This class is a continuation of the study of the power of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the believers and in the fellowship and service of the church. Pastoral Epistles II A continued look at the admonitions of a seasoned servant of God to aspiring ministers.
Third Quarter: Acts III This class is a continuation of the study of the power of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the believers and in the fellowship and service of the church. Philosophy Of Ministry This class is a prerequisite for a certificate of practical ministry, and focuses on ministry as viewed from the pulpit. Emphasis on necessary Biblical understanding needed to operate successfully in ministry.
Fourth Quarter: Galatians, Philippians, Colossians A verse-by-verse study of these books focusing on the grace of God in relation to salvation and it's contrast with legalism. Practical Ministry This class is a prerequisite for a certificate of practical ministry and takes a look at the functional aspects of ministry such as finances, church planting, etc. |
